Please join us on Thursday, February 9th, for a a reading by and conversation with poet Margaret Gibson.
Please note we have moved to the Universalist Church of West Hartford (433 Fern Street, West Hartford). Doors open at 6:30 for light refreshments and conversation. Poetry begins at 7 PM. Open mic precedes the featured poets; open mic poems on the subject of love and its challenges are encouraged but not required. Come and read anything! Free of charge! Donations gratefully accepted.
About the Poet:
Margaret Gibson is an award winning poet and author of 11 books of poetry. Her most recent, Broken Cup, is a finalist for the 2016 Poets’ Prize. Margaret Gibson has taught in many colleges and universities, at the undergraduate and graduate levels, most recently as Professor in Residence at the University of Connecticut from 1993-2006.
